This Privacy Policy explains how Voice Planner Reminder: Echo collects, uses, and protects information, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Audio you choose to transcribe, reminder titles, notes, dates, and settings.
• Anonymous identifiers (e.g., device or temporary user ID) and push tokens.
• Minimal diagnostics for reliability (e.g., error logs).

How We Use Information

• Transcribe your audio and parse reminders.
• Schedule notifications and provide app functionality.
• Improve reliability and support.

Sharing and Processing

• We use trusted processors, including Google Gemini API and Fireworks AI API for transcription and reminder parsing, and push notification providers.
• Content you choose to process (e.g., audio, derived text) is sent to these providers solely to provide the service.
• We have opted out of model training on user data with both Google Gemini API and Fireworks AI API, so data submitted through our integrations is not used to train either provider’s models.

AI Processing Notice

• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on the app for medical, legal, or other safety‑critical decisions.
• Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data (e.g., health, children’s personal data, financial account numbers) unless strictly necessary for your use.

Retention and Deletion

• Audio is processed securely and not retained longer than necessary for transcription.
• We record minimal usage events (e.g., request timing, token counts) for reliability, abuse prevention, and billing.
• Reminders persist until you delete them. You can request deletion in Settings (“Delete All Data”) or by contacting us.

International Transfers

We operate in the United States and may process data in other countries where our processors operate. We take steps to protect your data consistent with applicable laws.

Security

Data is protected in transit with TLS and stored with access controls.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

Your Choices

• Control microphone access and notifications in system settings.
• In the app, you can delete your data in Settings. You may also contact us to access or correct your information.
